Individual sessions are 60 minutes, while couples sessions typically last 90 minutes. However, 60-minute sessions can be offered for couples after the first session, if needed.
  • What happens in a counselling session?
In a session, we’ll explore your feelings, challenges, and goals in a supportive and non-judgmental space. I use a combination of talk therapy and body-based approaches to help you process emotions and gain clarity. For couples, I use techniques from Emotionally Focused Therapy and the Gottman Method to address communication and connection issues.
  • How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions varies based on your individual needs and goals. Some people find a few sessions helpful, while others prefer longer-term support. We can discuss this in our initial meeting and adjust as needed.
  • Can I attend counselling with my partner?
Yes! I specialise in couples counselling and can work with you and your partner to address communication challenges, emotional disconnection, or conflicts. Together, we’ll develop strategies to help you reconnect and strengthen your relationship.
  • Do you offer online counselling?
Yes, I offer both in-person and online counselling sessions, depending on what suits you best. Online sessions are conducted via a secure video platform, allowing flexibility no matter where you’re located.
  • What are your focus areas?
I specialise in couples counselling, emotion regulation, anxiety and stress, communication, imposter syndrome, and healing developmental trauma. I use a combination of body-based approaches, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and the Gottman Method to address these areas.
  • What is Somatic Attachment Therapy?
Somatic Attachment Therapy is a therapeutic approach that combines body-based techniques with attachment theory to help regulate emotions and heal trauma. It supports the connection between the mind and body to improve emotional resilience and relationships.
  • What is Silent Counselling?
Silent Counselling is a gentle, non-invasive therapeutic approach that helps individuals release emotional blockages without needing to verbally explore past trauma. It works through energy points in the body, helping to relieve stress, anxiety, and emotional pain. This method is particularly effective for clients who struggle with talking about their feelings or past experiences.
  • What qualifications do you have?
I hold a Bachelor of Social Science, a Diploma of Counselling, a Yoga Teaching Certificate, certifications in Somatic Attachment Therapy, Gottman Couples Counselling, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and I am also qualified in Silent Counselling.
  • Do you offer support for anxiety and stress?
Yes, I provide counselling for anxiety, stress, and burnout using both talk therapy and body-based approaches to help you connect with and process your feelings in a healthy way.
  • How do I know if couples counselling is right for us?
If you and your partner are struggling with communication, intimacy, or emotional disconnection, couples counselling can provide a safe space to work through these challenges and build a stronger bond. I’m here to help you explore whether this approach is right for your relationship.
